History and Purpose

VCCU became a chartered credit union in the 1950’s. From ten members with a cash drawer in a closet office this financial organization has grown to over 50,000 members in 2011. What hasn’t changed is the commitment to provide the best service to their members, including people with bad credit histories and limited income.

Benefits and Services

To be fully accessible to members a comprehensive listing of Board Members, the supervisory committee members and the management team of over twenty individuals is provided members to share their opinions by email. Checking, savings, loans and investments are all provided to Ventura County Credit Union members in a way that makes life easier for all. The best time and money saving service provided is the Ventura County Credit Union online banking system. But that is not all they do. Three different Visa card offerings with rates starting at 9.95% APR, a First time Auto Buyer Progam at 3.74% APR, coordinated savings and checking accounts free of charge are some of the other ways VCCU meets the needs of their members. Investment and business financial guidance is offered through CUSO Financial Services, L.P. and Balance Track, a personal finance education program, is offered online to individuals.
