Plains Commerce Credit Card

Plains Commerce Banks of South Dakota offers a variety of services including personal financing options.

The Plains Commerce bank offers credit cards for its customers that have reasonable terms and offer unique features.

There are three Plains Commerce credit cards to choose between. Two of the Plains credit card offers require you to have moderate to good credit ratings, a credit check is required for this card, and prior relationships with the Plains Commerce Bank of South Dakota. First, the Plains Visa Gold credit card is a good option for people with prior established relationships with the Plains Commerce Bank and who have moderate to good credit ratings. This card offers a fixed annual percentage rate (APR) of twelve percent. There are no annual fees with this Plains credit card, and it is ideal for personal and local purchases of items or services.

Second, the Plains Visa or Mastercard Classic credit card is a good option for people with prior established relationships with the Plains Commerce Bank and who have moderate to good credit ratings. A credit check is required for this card. This card has similar terms to the Plains Visa Gold credit card. There is a twelve percent annual percentage rate for purchases which is computed daily for balances and new purchases, a twenty-five day grace period for repayment of balances for purchases, no annual fee, and no finance charges. A fee of two dollars or two percent (whichever is greater) is charged for cash advances. Late payment fees of twenty dollars or five percent of the amount past due (whichever is greater) is charged. Finally, there is an over the credit limit fee of twenty dollars or five percent of the over-limit amount (whichever is greater).

The third Plains credit card offer, the Visa or Mastercard Secured credit card, is particularly good for people with poor or no established credit and no prior relationship with Plains Bank. These cards are secured using an associated bank account as collateral for the line of credit. The credit limit is typically set as a percent of the amount deposited into the associated account. The annual percentage rate is fixed at approximately twenty percent and there is an annual fee of thirty-nine dollars for the card. The deposit accrues an annual percentage rate of around four and a half percent. The use of the secured credit card is reported to the major credit bureaus, so positive use of this card can help you establish your credit history and rebuild credit. Additionally, Plains Commerce Banks will work with people with poor credit or no credit to find the right credit options to suit their needs.

The Plains Commerce credit cards can be customized with images of the art by Terry Redlin.
