Citizens Bank offers five types of Citizens Bank credit card that clients can choose from: the Everyday Points Card, the Greensense Platinum Card, the Accelerator Rewards Card, the CashBack Card, and the Platinum Card.

Each Citizens Bank credit card is issued by RBS Citizens, N.A. and all have the following features: zero annual fee, zero liability for stolen or lost cards, an introductory APR of 0% for the initial six billing cycles, a 24/7 online account management system, and a complimentary year-end summary for all types of Citizens Bank credit card accounts. The following is an overview of one Citizens Bank credit card: the Citizens Bank Everyday Points Credit Card

The Citizens Bank Everyday Points Credit Card is the first rewards card from Citizens Bank. After the promotional period, this card offers an APR of 15.99% to 19.99% depending on the cardholder’s creditworthiness. Cardholders who pay their dues in full and on time each month are also given a 27-day grace period. Balance transfers for this Citizens Bank credit card are limited to a minimum of $10 and a maximum of $60. Balance transfers also have applicable fees including a 3% transaction fee for each check.

The main feature of this Citizens Bank credit card is its rewards program that allows the cardholder to automatically triple the points they earn on the first 3 months. After this period, every dollar spent on the Citizens Bank credit card gives the cardholder up to 3 points. There are no caps or limitations on the amount of points a cardholder can earn. S/he can even earn up to 20x more points when s/he uses the credit card to shop at Citizens Bank’s Merchant Network. Once accumulated, points can be exchanged for gift cards, electronic merchandise, sporting goods, appliances, hotel gift certificates, and discounts on airline tickets. A cardholder can manage, track, and even redeem points from Citizens Bank’s website for its Everyday Points program.

Other benefits from this Citizens Bank credit card include a travel accident insurance, luggage delay insurance, car rental insurance (in case of collision, damage, or loss of rented vehicle), and emergency assistance during travel (i.e. tire change, towing, jumpstart, gas, etc.). The Everyday Points Credit Card also includes an optional Payment Care feature that gives the cardholder protection in case of emergency.

The Everyday Points credit card is from MasterCard, making it acceptable in millions of ATMs and retails stores worldwide. Approval for this Citizens Bank credit card requires at least a good credit rating from an applicant.
