cards to offer to all types of consumers.
For those who have a limited credit history, the Chevy Chase credit card that they can apply for
is the Capital One® Standard Platinum card from MasterCard®. This card basically helps the cardholder save money
with its zero annual fee and 0% introductory APR until November 2010. After which, a variable purchase APR of 22.9%
is charged. Additional fees for this Chevy Chase credit card include a 3% cash advance fee, a late payment fee that
can range from $15 to $39, and an over the limit fee of $29 for credits that are equal to or more than $500.
People with an average credit history or those with a credit limit of less than 5,000 dollars may find the
MasterCard® No Hassle CashSM Rewards card a good option for them. Primary benefits from this Chevy Chase credit
card include a 2% cash back at grocery stores and gas stations and a 1% cash back on other purchases. This Chevy
Chase credit card also has an introductory APR of 0% until November 2010, that moves up to a variable rate of 17.9%
after. Other fees for this Chevy Chase credit card include a 39-dollar annual fee and miscellaneous fees similar to
that of the Standard Platinum card.
Those with excellent credit or with a credit limit that is greater than 10,000 dollars may apply for the No Hassle
MilesSM Rewards card from Visa® or the Capital One® Platinum Prestige card from MasterCard®. Both credit cards
offer an introductory APR of 0% until February 2011 and a zero annual fee. The variable APR of the No Hassle
MilesSM Rewards card from Visa® that’s charged after the introductory promo is 13.9% while that of the MasterCard®
Capital One® Platinum Prestige card is 11.9%. Visa’s No Hassle MilesSM Rewards card also offers one mile for every
dollar corresponding to the first 1,000 dollars spent for every billing cycle and 2 miles for every dollar spent
exceeding 1,000 dollars. Each Chevy Chase credit card is charged with the same miscellaneous fees as the previous
cards and each doesn’t charge any annual membership fee.
